The series consists of Agency Investigation Report files kept by the legal division of the office of Governor Bob Taft. These files document closed investigations involving state agencies of interest to the Chief Legal Counsel, and include investigation request forms, memos from legal counsel, and statements regarding the status of the investigations, particularly following their closing. The investigations were usually conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
